Who We Are
Who We Are
ASHA (meaning hope or desire in Sanskrit) is an initiative led by the Motwani Jadeja Foundation and Motwani Institute for Thought Leadership in Innovation (MITLI) to inspire people to take action to change the world through cutting-edge innovation and state-of-the-art technologies, through a collective, equitable and human-centric approach.
At Davos, ASHA will showcase the potential of technology as demonstrated by the invaluable solutions developed by innumerable companies, start-ups and organisations supported by the Motwani Jadeja Foundation and Motwani Institute for Thought Leadership in Innovation (MITLI).
“Nation states have served a purpose in the last 70 years – helping ex-colonies struggle out of colonial rule and establish distinct national identities. But as our planet faces unprecedented crises of climate change, health – obesity and diabetes, global trafficking and poverty, it is worth pondering over the kind of partnerships that would enable a robust Post Nation State world where the citizens of planet earth determine what works… and what doesn’t.”
